Masters in Forensic Science & Toxicology

Divya is currently working as Scientific Officer in Investigation Department at Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science, India. She has completed her Bachelors in Botany from Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, University of Delhi and Masters in Forensic Science & Toxicology from Chandigarh University, Punjab. During academics, had received exposures in the field of Forensic Toxicology at State Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi, Home Deptt., Govt. of NCT of Delhi; have carried out case studies by scientific examination of crime exhibits involving Blood, Viscera, etc; had also received broader exposure in other department like in the field of Questioned Document at Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Central Bureau of Investigation, Delhi; during this period, handled various scientific equipment like Microscope, U-V, IR and Video Spectral Comparator and various magnifying equipment; had also received training at Mobile Crime Investigation Team, North East District, Delhi Police in Crime Scene Investigation and Fingerprint Detection; also received the knowledge of Fingerprint Comparison at Finger Print Bureau, Crime Branch, Delhi Police. Attended Conference on EPICON (Epilepsy) in S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, Delhi University and at National Brain Research Centre, Manesar, Gurgaon, Haryana. Also attended International Conference on “Forensic science and Cyber Security” at Gujarat Forensic Science University; participated in National Conference and workshop on “Trends and Scope of Forensic Science” at Acharya Narender Dev College, Delhi University. Also participated in Conference on “Pink Chain” drive against breast cancer at S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, Delhi University and organized free eye checkup camp in collaboration with AIIMS, Delhi held at Delhi University.
