Refund Policy

Event Cancelled by Organization

The Capability Development Institute reserves the right to cancel the event for any viable reason, and if CDI cancel the event, participants will be offered complete refund with in next 14 working days.


Event Cancelled by Participants

Capability Development Institute does not issue refunds for non-attendance at paid scheduled events.


  • If the attendee choose not to attend an event and inform us prior to the event date via email, attendee has option of converting the fee into contribution towards the event. In such case, CDI will publish his/her name on the website under the list of contributors.
  • If participants want to cancel the registration, write us with your reason for cancellation of your seat in the particular event. In such scenario, if CDI founds the reason is valid, a written cancellation note will be shared with the participants within 5 working days. After which CDI will process the refund via a same payment method as the original receipt of funds within next 7 working days.
  • In lieu of a refund, participants can also substitute another relevant person to attend a paid event in their place only after taking confirmation from the Event organizer. Please email us with the subject line “Registration Substitute: Name of the Event” before 3 working days of the event.
  • Above refund policies apply to all CDI events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Before registration, read specific event information thoroughly.
