Dr. Ritesh Shukla is currently working as an Assistant Professor at, School of Arts and Sciences of Ahmedabad University. He has received his doctorate degree in Toxicology from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. He received a Master's degree in forensic Science from Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra.  

He has co-authored research articles in international peer-reviewed Journal. He has edited books on "Forensic Nanotechnology" and "Nanotoxicity". He received the Early Career Research Award from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). He has research expertise in the diversified field of Toxicology and Forensic Science. He is a member of Silk Road Forensic Consortium, China (Founded by Professor Henry C. Lee) and the International Society for Forensic Genetics (ISFG). Currently, Dr Shukla focused his research on the development of a ‘Point of Detection device’ for body fluid identification. In addition, his research interest also focused on various aspects of forensic nanotechnology, toxicology, and food forensics.
