Dr. Amar Pal Singh Shokeen

Dr. Amar Pal Singh Shokeen is currently working as Assistant Director of Chemistry at Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi. He has been working in Chemistry Division at Forensic Science Laboratory since 1994. Earlier, he has worked as Ad-hoc lecturer at Department of Criminology & Forensic Science at Sagar University. He has been working as Link officer to HOO Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Chanakya Puri, New Delhi. He has also worked as Member of RFSL committee for the establishment of Regional Forensic Science Laboratories and Crime Scene Management Division. He has served as PIO, Dy. Quality Manager, Welfare Officer and Pairvi officer in FSL Delhi. Till now, he has examined and reported approximately 5000 cases and 15000 exhibits. He is pursuing Ph.D. from AIFS and AINT of Amity University, Noida; completed master’s in Forensic Science from Dr. H.S. Gaur University, Sagar and bachelor’s in Chemistry, Botany, Agro-Chemicals and Pest Control from Delhi University. He also did a certificate course in Forensic Science and LLB from Delhi University. He has been awarded with numerous awards and appreciation for his academics and research work. He has also delivered lectures and imparted training to students, Judges, prosecution officials, IPS officers, defense personnel and SSO. He has attended numerous trainings, seminars and symposiums at University, National and International level. Also, he has published numerous research papers in the various National and International journals.
