Dr. Mamta Pal

Dr. Mamta Pal is the former Associate Professor in Department of Forensic Science (PG Department) at Faculty of Sciences, JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University), Bangalore. During her tenure at JAIN University, she has mentored 6 Post-graduate students and supervised 6 Ph.D. students. Prior to this, she has worked as Associate Professor (2018-2020) and Assistant Professor (2015-2017) at Division of Forensic Sciences, School of Basic & Applied Sciences, Galgotias University, Greater Noida. She did Ph.D. in Phytochemistry from DRDO, Defence Institute of Physiology & Allied Sciences, Delhi, master’s in Forensic Science from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra and bachelor’s in Chemistry, Industrial-chemistry and Mathematics from C.C.S. University, Meerut. She received Junior Research Fellowship (2010-2012) and Senior Research Fellowship (2012-2015) from UGC. She has developed e-Modules for UGC e-PG Pathshala for NME-ICT for MHRD Project. She has been awarded and appreciated for her academics and research work. She has presented her research work in numerous Seminars and Conferences held at University, National and International level. She has also published numerous research papers in the various National and International journals.
