Dr. Tej Bahadur Singh is a postgraduate in Psychology from Ranchi University in 1975. He has obtained professional training in DPSW, DMSP and completed his PhD in School Mental Health, CIP-Ranchi University. He has undergone training under the British Council study Fellowship in the area of PsychoSocial Rehabilitation from the University of Birmingham. He also got trained in organizing Community-oriented Services from Community Development and Panchayati Raj Training Institute, Ranchi. He joined the Department of Psychiatry, as a Research Officer and subsequently served NIVH Dehradun as Lecturer Clinical Psychology and  NIPCCD as Deputy Director in the Psycho-Social Division. Later, he moved to IHBAS to set up the Department of Clinical Psychology. He is the Founder faculty & HOD of the department. A total of 100 clinical Psychologists qualified from this C.P. Centre till the time of his superannuation in the year 2012 as Professor & Dean at IHBAS. Currently, he is serving as Dean of School of Human Sciences & Professor in Psychology at Central University of South Bihar, Gaya. He has published a total of 95 research papers in National and International Journals, chapters in books, Books and Research Monographs. He has supervised 15 Research Projects as Principal Investigator. He also served in the IACP Association as President.
