Dr. Piyush Kapila is a Professor of Forensic Medicine and is the most celebrated Medicolegal Expert of the state of Himachal Pradesh since 1997 at the oldest medical college of the state of Himachal Pradesh named as Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla. He is most sought after Resource Person at State Health and Family Welfare School Parimehal,  Shimla Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration Fairlawns Shimla, State Judicial Academy, Gandal  Shimla, State Forensic Science Laboratory Junga, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy Hyderabad, National Investigation Agency, New Delhi, Central Detective Training Institute Chandigarh, Police Training College Daroh Kangra, Rajiv Gandhi Government Post Graduate Ayurvedic College Paprola Kangra to count a few. He is on the panel of National Medical Council, Telemedicine Society of India.  Besides Routine Medico Legal work.
