Fulmita Deb

She is currently working as a Scientific Officer and Team Member at Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science (SIFS, India). She completed her Masters from Banaras Hindu University and graduation from Cotton University. She pursued her Master's thesis on "Biotechnology, Population Genetics and the Ascent of Forensic DNA Fingerprinting: A Review" and bachelor's thesis on "Isolation of Free living Nitrogen fixing bacteria in the rhizosphere of rice". She has a knack for laboratory work and her professional skills include forensic analysis, DNA extraction and other related techniques of cell and molecular biology, instrumentation, etc.  She is also a scientific content developer and holds certifications in various subjects in the field of Biotechnology and Forensic Science from various reputed institutions of the country.
