Dr. Vijay Pal Khanagwal

Dr. Vijay Pal Khanagwal is currently working as a Professor & HOD at Department of Forensic Medicine, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal. He is also a Professor-in-Charge of the Administration at the college and the Medico-legal Advisor to Govt. of Haryana. He has an experience of approximately 30 years in the teaching and working as a Professor since 2007. He did MBBS from Medical College, Rohtak and MD (Forensic Science) from Pt. B.D. Sharma Medical College, Rohtak. In 2003, he did LLB from M.D. University, Rohtak. Later, he completed Master of Human Rights from Pondicherry University, Pondicherry. Till now, he has supervised 7 MD theses and co-supervised 3 MD theses. He has been awarded by many awards for his studies and social work at State and National level. He is an active member of various Associations like World Association of Medical Law, Indo-Pacific Association of Law, Medicine & Science, Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, Haryana Medico-legal Society etc. He has attended numerous Conferences and Workshops as Paper presenter, Guest lecture ad Session chairperson. He has published approximately 75 research papers in the various National and International journals.
