Rajat Chauhan

Rajat Chauhan is a highly motivated and dedicated professional currently working as a Junior Scientific Officer at the Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science. With a strong educational background and a passion for learning new skills, he has consistently strived for excellence in his academic pursuits. He completed his Bachelor's in Life Sciences from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Delhi University, and his Master's in Forensic Science from the Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi. In recognition of his outstanding academic performance, he was awarded the Delhi University Meritorious Award for Excellence in Academics in 2022. Throughout his academic journey, he has been actively engaged in various social service organisations, team projects, fieldwork, research, laboratory work, seminars, and conferences. He has good analytical and problem-solving skills, which have also honed his ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting. He has done his internships in prestigious institutions such as the Delhi FSL in the Biology Division, the Fingerprint Division in the Central Bureau of Investigation, and alongside the Delhi Police Mobile Crime Team. These opportunities provided him with invaluable hands-on experience, allowing him to apply his theoretical knowledge to real-world forensic investigations.
